Cutting-Edge Startup Company Seeking a Lead DevOps/Build Engineer
We are expanding our technical delivery team and looking for a Lead DevOps/Build Engineer to join us. We offer a position working with the latest technologies on our global clinical platform, collaborating with top global companies in clinical research (life sciences).
Responsibilities:
- Perform essential functions at a high level of proficiency with minimal oversight.
- Define and implement a DevOps strategy in an Agile development environment.
- Build and improve deployment models with a focus on efficiency, automation, and ROI.
- Create Installation Requirement Documents for deployed applications.
- Manage application deployments across multiple environments (development, testing, staging, production) on a scheduled release calendar.
- Analyze hardware capacity and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Automate server and application configurations using Infrastructure as Code, targeting CI/CD automation.
- Monitor system performance, anticipate issues, and recommend solutions.
- Troubleshoot critical application and configuration issues alongside development teams.
- Provide after-hours on-call deployment support and handle advanced issues.
- Build and enhance automated interfaces between tools to manage repositories, ticketing, and testing systems.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps and AWS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Terraform in AWS and source control systems like BitBucket or AWS CodeDeploy.
- CI/CD experience using Jenkins and Sonatype (Nexus Repo); strong understanding of branching and merging strategies.
- Automation scripting skills with Python, Terraform, and Bash.
- Experience delivering software applications (Java, NodeJS, AngularJS, Web API) in an AWS environment, including microservices and RESTful APIs.

Pay: $110,000 - $135,000 per year (Depending on experience)
